Good Man vs. Nice Guy....an RK Perspective

How are all you MySpacians doing? I'm doing lovely. In a better mood today for whatever reason. No I didn't get any ass last night. Though a flight to....does sound good....uhhh, nevermind. I'll be out there soon enough balls in hand! Anyway, I've been noticing that even with Ms. 9/5's blog about The Great Men of MySpace And Beyond, women are still asking "Where are all the good men at?" SMOKEn Doc's blog the other day, "You Wanna Know Where They Are?", answered the question very well. So basically what I'm gonna do is put my spin on this question. Why do women fall for the "nice guy", instead of the good man?

To really understand this question, you have to understand my views about the "nice guy" versus the good man. These are only my views, however comma they make perfectly good sense to me and a few other people once I've explained thoroughly.

The problem with women is you keep falling for the "nice guy." Think about it ladies....he's polite, punctual, chivalrous, generous and all those other good qualities a man should have. You know what his problem is? Doesn't he always seem to show up at the perfect time? He's your knight in shining armor. He gallops into your life on his trusty white steed and whisks you off to his castle to live happily ever after. This muthafucka does everything right. I know yawl probably like, "where the hell are you going with this?" The difference between the "nice guy" and the good man, is that the "nice guy" is only like that til he gets the booty. Then he turns from knight to pirate. The good man will do all this shit....but once you've brought that relationship to another level, the good man ain't going nowhere. I think House said it before, "Grown men handle their shit!" The "nice guy" does all this shit just to break your heart in the end. A "nice guy" does shit and expects you to do something in return. "Nice guys" are wolves in sheep's clothing. Yawl know what I'm talking about too! I call it the "Knight In Shining Armor Syndrome" because of the way this nigga come swooping in your life. These "nice guys" is fucking it up for the good men out there. Now good men can do all that shit too, but see the difference in how long the good man sticks with you as opposed to the "nice guy."

Now this is where I explain what a real "nice guy" is.....

Nice Guys.....are indeed homosexual men. Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, hear me out. This is no offense to gay men. It's been said men will be be men. Always thinking about sex, can never settle down, lie all the time, you know....the typical. Well the same can be said about gay men as well, except there's one difference between them and heterosexual men. They don't want anything sexual from a woman. Gay men can listen to your problem and offer solutions to your problems to help you get back on track. They can genuinely be nice to you. Now those men that claim the "nice" moniker, are sheep in wolf clothing. They beat around the bush, and act as if they care just like a homosexual man would, when in fact they really want what we "dogs" want. Sex. It's evident some women know what i'm talking about because some of yawl wouldn't have so many gay male friends. Yawl can talk about the same shit. Gettin dick. How much men suck or don't suck. They really listen to your problems. Not to mention, some of the gay dudes I know are fucking hiliarious. Getting back to the point, I notice things. Women are a lot more comfortable and open with their gay male friends. They feel safe because when they go out, and believe it or not....they can call a "dog" when they see one. I've seen the shit first hand. But gay men are naturally nice to women.

So now whe have the good man. More often than not, it's that quiet brother looking out the window of a bus. He's the guy you cut your eyes at on the elevator when he says, "Good Morning." He's the brother that you clown every chance you get because he's not on 24's, 26's or 30's. He's not driving a Benz, he's driving an Escort. Good men are all over the place ladies. We still do all the chivalry shit, we respect you enough to tell you our intentions from the door. Yeah we may fuck up. We are human, just like you. We bleed, we cry, and we love. We also see that with some of your "preferences", we don't stand a chance. Yeah we may have standards ourselves, but when that emotion hits....standards go out the window. I thought some of you females were nuts for saying I was one of the Great Men Of MySpace and Beyond. That's my word. Slowly, I've been realizing all of what you're saying. I've been done wrong. I consider myself a damn good man. I tell you shit straight up. If you don't like it, go to someone who will give a fuck. I say shit that most people wouldn't. Stop falling for these loser ass dudes. Give that starving artist a chance.

Before I leave....I thought this song was rather appropriate for the topic. No matter what happens in my life

What's going on out here in MySpacedom? I hope everyone is enjoying themselves today. I know I just so happen to be. I managed to keep myself outta jail for the time being. Don't ask....RK has never admitted to being a law-abiding citizen. LOL! Anyway, Phellah G reached his 200th blog last week....STANDING OVATION FOR PHELLAH. For blog 201....a tag blog that has floated around here much to much. You know the one...."10 Weird Things You Don't Know About Me" blog. I've seen at least 15 different versions of this tag. Well....he switched it up. You can check him out here. In the end he left it open for people to do whatever they wished. Gotta love a guy like that!

Fast forward to today. At approximately 7:55pm EST Ms. 9/5: The Bouncing Elephant Girl....posted a blog entitled...."But I so Love it!" This woman LOVES TAG BLOGS! Took me a while to notice but she loves them. She loves the tagging part that comes with it. Well she has tagged The Royal One. SMCH! And in doing so....she has subject you to.....

10 or so....Things I Love

10. Michelob Family Beer

I don't know what it is but this is my favorite family of beer. Itend to favor Michelob Light now-a-days. I'm trying to maintain my girlish figure. LOL! Basically my ass ain't trying to put on no excess weight. I gotta hit the gym and get my shit tight. Don't no chick wanna see a skinny dude with a gut on a bike in the summer. That's not a very good look for me. Like Sean John says....."I need to maintain my sexy.

9. Cheese Sticks

I know how you feel....I've been addicted to these scrumptious snacks since the 6th grade. There was a spot Downtown Chicago, that me and my wild ass friends stumbled upon one day. We were at the Harold Washington Library, as it was called back then, and weget hungry and decide to take a break. We walk up bout a block in a half. There was a McDonald's and a Burger King right next to eeach other. Right between the two was this space and I notice this spot....Ronnie's Steakhouse. We went in and that was when I first had Mozzarella Sticks. Been in love ever since. I could go for some Ronnie's right now too!

8. Chicago

I love my city! There is no place like Chicago! Where else can you chill at a barber shop all day. Ladies....they have a nail and hair shop on the second floor. Shoot pool, play cards, Drink, smoke if you so choose, and still have places to go later at night. Ask PhReSh....she will tell you how we get down in Chicago. We have the world's laargest food festival, The Taste of Chicago. The Magnificent Mile, which you need to see at night. One of the most expensive McDonald's, the Rock 'N Roll McDonald's. Not to mention New Year's Eve in Chicago.....off the yazzlebub!

"See now, I'm from a city in the Midwest, best city in the whole wide wide world!" - Lupe Fiasco

7. Travelling

I've said it time and time again that you owe it to yourself to get out and see the world. Trust me....we aren't the ones living the "good life" like we think we are. I've been to over 30 different countries in 9 years. I'd rather live over there than here. Real talk. I've been trying to get the final details hammered out for a MySpace Event in November....a trip to Amsterdam. Go to a nude beach and not worry about someone calling the cops because your beautiful mammaries are larger than theirs. See the EiffelTower, The Colliseum, Stone Henge, The Pyramids of Egypt. For real....get out and see something.

6. Motorcycles

Somethng about being on 2 wheels that does it for me. I know Zirc has been battling with the notion and I know showing more pictures of these sexy machines won't make it better....but I had to do it. For those of you thinking about motocycle riding, be sure to look up Motorcycle Safety Courses in your area. They are very useful and will help you be a better rider or passenger.

5. Family (MySpacians included)

I couldn't live without yawl nuts for real. Yawl constantly remind me of why I need to be around. Yawl do some of the damdest things, and I'm glad I'm always there to record every waking moment of your fuckery! Evidence is a bitch! LOL!!!

4. Art

Photography, graffiti, cubism, contemporary, modern, expressionism, music.....I LOVE ART!!! Artists are geniuses because they have the inate ability to create work that is universal. Their work stands the test of time and will always be held in high regard to me.

3. HGtv

I swear that has to be the second best channel after the Cartoon Network! Especially with me wanting to get into real estate, this channel is amazing. Though Carter has some metro tendencies.....let that dude loose in your house and he works miracles. And just because I watch HGtv don't think for one second Thumper and Bumper won't talk to ya.

2. Oral Sex

I'm not gonna get to in depth with that. I'm good at it and I have people that will vouch for my prowess.

1. _ _ _ _ _ _ _

To protect the innocent I will not say her name. She knows how I feel about her, and that it will never change. Don't try to guess who I'm talking about either....she ain't a MySpacer.

That's my list....I'm only gonna tag one person. LaTasha told me one time she loves getting tagged. So here ya go beautiful. Anyone else....tag yo'self!

Freestyle.... (Part 1)

The other day i was watching one of them documentary type of DVD's called "16 Bars. It got me to thinking about JAYmatic's blogs about who he thinks was the rapper and what he feels is Hip-Hop. To be honest....Hip-Hop is dead. Shit been dead for a minute now. Let me regain my train of thought....lol. That's a whole other blog right there. While I was watching the DVD, it made me think....Who was the best freestyle MC's to ever touch the mic. Of course this is who I think deserves to receive that nod.

Without further ado, in no particular order....

MC Juice is a famed freestyle rapper from Chicago. Known for his stinging punchlines and crafty wordplay, MC Juice has battled some big names in Hip Hop. His famed battle with Eminem in 1997 at the Scribble Jam is testimony to that. I remember in high school listening to one of his songs called "Freestlye or Written." To this day....I don't know if he wrote that song or freestyled it. Listening to the song you can tell he was coming off the top.

Supernatural is by far one of the best freestyle rappers in the world. He broke the record for longest freesyle rap....over 9 hours straight. His battles with 3 other MC's on my list still ring bells in the underground. He's had classic battles with MC Juice, Eminem, and Craig G. If you mention freestyle rap to a Hip-Hop head....Supernat will definitely be brought up.

Craig G is one of Hip-Hop's legends. Handing Supernatural on of his very few defeats, Craig G is known for being one of the original members of The Juice Crew. With a knack for finding out info and using it against you in a battle, he took freestlying and battle rap to a whole new level. He also wrote the majority of the battle raps in the movie "8 Mile."

Eminem a.k.a. Slim Shady is not only one of the sickest freestyle rappers, he also is one of the most successful rappers ever. He gained fame battling MC Juice on "The Wake Up Show" and he's battled countless MC's on his way to the top. The movie "8 Mile" was based off his life in his rise to legend status in Detroit's streets. Plain and simple....you do not want to be on the receiving end of his freestlye. PERIOD.

Cassidy destroyed Freeway in this battle after Jay Z kinda instigated this battle. Rumor has it....Hov was talking shit saying Cassidy wasn't all that good. Cassidy in turn said, "Bring anyone from your crew and I'll bite their head off." So Hov brought fellow Philly native Freeway. Just look what he did to him.

Say what you want about Can-I-Bus....but the man could flow. It's unfortunate that LL Cool J singlehandedly destroyed his career, but it is what it is. Can-I had the delivery of a pit bull and his rhymes were always on point.

Repping the Left Coast....Ras Kass. To hear him freestyle is a rare occurrence. But when you do....this Left Coaster brings a fury like no other. Besides....who do you know that can be on the run from authorities and drop a mixtape called "Catch Me If You Can"

Killer Mike is one of my favorite MC's and to me....one of the most underrated MC's out there. He earned his name "Killer" when he went through over 70 MC's in one night....rather decisively.

"Blastmaster KRS I don't talk shit..." Anyone who doesn't see the contributions this man has made to advancing the culture is not a Hip-Hop fan. His ability to freestyle about today's problems puts him in a league of his own. His famous battle with Queens MC Shan and pretty much all of Queens will for ever go down in history as one of the best rap battles ever.

The one and only big homie.....Hov. Whenever you just step in a booth and let off lyrics....something is to be said about the caliber MC you are. Sean carter has been entertaining us and supplying us with consistent shit. I don't know what to say about "American Gangster" and I know his newest record slated to drop sometime soon will be insane. Not one to shy away from a battle....Jay Z and DMX went toe to toe in a Yonkers Pool Hall for 30 minutes. From what I've heard....it was a draw.
